If you’re a beginner, you’re bound to progress quickly after a few twists and turns on these slopes. The interconnecting downhill skiing makes the most of the reliable snowfall and offers loads of green and blue routes – Espiolets is especially accommodating if you’re new to piste. If you’ve got children, visit the enchanting snowy forest of Mont Magic.
Why not go off-piste and challenge yourself? If you’ve got all the tricks, the bumps, jumps, black runs and moguls should be no issue for you. The pace of the snow-topped planes is rapid here, so it’s all thrill through the valley. For even more of an adventure, check out the heli-skiing.
Down in the centre, you’ll find a main street teeming with bubbly bars and restaurants, all specialising in Andorran fare and cuisine from around the world. The international buzz continues through to the party-style après-ski. It’s worth exploiting the countless happy hours, but an evening in front of the log fire ought to appeal, too.
