Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have announced details of their once-in-a-lifetime trips to Iceland for Winter 25/26, revealing a programme that offers customers and independent travel agents an unrivalled choice of departure points, including flights and city breaks from new UK airport bases Bournemouth and Liverpool John Lennon.
With holidaymakers flocking to book flights and holidays to this bucket list destination, the leading leisure airline and UK’s largest operator of city breaks to Europe have launched their biggest ever Iceland programme for next winter, which covers all 12 of their UK airport bases.
In addition to operating to Iceland from brand-new airports Bournemouth (an exclusive route) and Liverpool John Lennon for the first time, services are also on sale to the once-in-a-lifetime destination from Belfast International, Bristol, Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle International Airports (the full programme is broken down by base below).
In total, Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks will operate more than 170 outbound services between October 2025 and April 2026, representing over 34,000 seats on sale and a capacity increase of 6% compared to Winter 24/25. This provides customers and independent travel agents with incredible choice when it comes to seeing the Northern Lights and the abundance of natural wonders that Iceland has to offer.
The programme means stays are available at key periods during Winter 25/26 including over the October half-term, February half-term, Easter holidays and in the countdown to Christmas. As well as providing customers with plenty of flexibility when it comes to which month or period they want to travel, the flights are also perfectly timed for those wanting to witness the spectacular Northern Lights and experience the best of Iceland.
The release of the programme today is the earliest the companies have ever put their Iceland programme on sale, giving holidaymakers the opportunity to book ahead and tick the destination off their bucket list. Announcing the programme this early comes in response to the number of customers who book early when it comes to choosing a flight or city break to Iceland.
Thanks to its abundance of natural wonders and wide variety of sights to see, Iceland has continued to experience strong demand. From the world’s most northernmost capital, Reykjavik, to volcanic landscapes and the night skies featuring the spectacular Northern Lights, it is easy to see why Iceland is deemed a once-in-a-lifetime trip.
Customers can pick from flight-only or package holiday options, with package options with Jet2CityBreaks available for a low £60 per person deposit. These package options with Jet2CityBreaks include a guided Northern Lights Tour, flights with Jet2.com, 22kg hold luggage and transfers to and from the airport, as well as a choice of 3 and 4-star hotels in central Reykjavik. In addition, a choice of excursions to the South Shore, Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon are also available to purchase.
